Home Care Industries' ALFCO Division manufactures a wide range of specialty filters serving the floor care, room air purification, equipment protection, environmental health & safety, and process emission control markets.

ALFCO (formerly a division of Donaldson Company's Airmaze subsidiary) was founded in 1956 as the Aluminum Filter Company. Over the last four decades, the product range has been developed and refined from the original expanded aluminum grease filters and simple dust arrestants to include highly sophisticated HEPA and ULPA filters capable of efficiencies up to 99.9999% at 0.12 microns.

As consumers and employees have grown increasingly aware of and concerned with the quality of the air they breathe, we have seen increasing demand for products designed to improve indoor air quality. The introduction of "micro-filtration" vacuum cleaner dust bags, the soaring popularity of HEPA rated vacuum cleaner filters and the recent growth in room air purifiers are just a few examples of how filtration technology is improving the quality of life, particularly for allergy sufferers.
